Posted by Luther on 13:54:20 6/3/2008 from 63.77.244.32:

While re-mulching under a tree, I disturbed a nest? of carpenter ants living in a small pile of unused flag stone along my fence line.

The area is far enough away from any buildings, so I am not concerned about the ants getting inside or destroying a structure. I do, however, want to make sure that they won't bother my black spruce or any of the other trees/bushes in the area.

I have already moved the flagstone elsewhere. What else (if anything) do I need to do to protect my landscaping?

Thanks!
