Five days ago we started seeing them in our bathrooms. We located one of their entry points outside and addressed it there as best we could, but they appear to be coming from somewhere else. Although they seem to have left the bedrooms/bathrooms upstairs, they're now in the kitchen ceiling area--we have reclaimed (i.e., "old") exposed wooden beams in the ceilings, and wood dust is starting to rain down on our heads. I cleared away all moist leaves from around the house, but am not sure what to do next. The Orkin folks said they'd do this: first visit--$400 using environmentally/pet friendly stuff and "hit them hard" inside and in a perimeter around the house outside. Then come the following month -- $119, and recommend that we have them back every other month after that to ensure that they're gone. Seems like a lot of money! But having that wood dust fall on your head and two ants crawl over you at night is kinda scary...

Thanks in advance.

Greg
