Thing is, if you don't do the whole place, then you run the risk of the customer calling in with a problem in the area you DIDN'T treat... And the extra time you spend doing what should be done can save you a call-back - in these times of $4 gasoline, that can mean a lot.
Funny thing about the mini-trips, one time, on a vacation, I did stop by a person's house I had talked with extensively. That was, I believe, somewhere around Lake Champlain, if I remember correctly. Then, one time, for a local customer whose sister was in Long Island, she had a termite problem and begged me to come up, regardless of cost. She had a fantastic lunch spread out for me when I got there! Rich experiences, both of them! And that was even before I had my RV!
