I live in Jacsonville FL, which has high humidity. Renting a house with a few close trees. It appears that ants are underground as I never see any mounds. The carport has large cracks, and in the evening I see ants pouring out of those cracks. I really don't mind those. However, in the past few weeks I have been coming home to fnd 10 or more ants in my small bath shower and swarming about. Recently, they are winged. They are coming up thru the drain. When I block off the drain, I don't see them. But, then they come up into the main bath, freaking out my neice who uses that tub. It's July. I really don't want to use chems if possible. Will they die off soon? Does this mean they are underground? The house is concrete slab, with some rotten wood around a back porch.
