I am just outside of Rico, 9000 feet. First time I've had an ant issue, and have to believe part of it due to the epic winter we had, and then fair amount of rain this summer. My issue has been under the front step( they actually are under the house), many many little red/brown ones, some little ones with wings, and a few bigger ones with wings( I assume carpenters). I am anal enough to scoop them up and inspect them, so know they( the winged ones) are in fact ants.
