We bought a new shed about 3 years ago and for the past couple of months I have been noticing dead ants on the floor in a certain spot. I decided to start investigating today and noticed that on one of the loft floors of the shed, we have tons of mostly dead carpenter ants and a few live ones. There are two vents and two windows on the shed which I always keep open so I don't understand why it would be that humid in there that they would be attracted to the inside of the shed. We live in New Jersey so it's not that hot and the wood in the shed is not old. I obviously have to clean up, but does anyone have any ideas on what to do to get rid of them? I would GREATLY APPRECIATE IT!
