John,
A while back I sought your advice about Carpenter Ant invasion. I live on a heavily wooded lot and early summer Carpenter Ants were coming from every direction - crawling on the house and entering in several areas. I took your advice and had a Termidor treatment approximately 4 weeks ago. It seemed to work pretty well, after a while the ants were sickly or dead and very few seen in the house. As of late, we're seeing more and more active ones around the house and on the house. The exterminator told me that Termidor can only be applied twice a year if needed and that it would last 60 days. It appears that it is wearing off quickly. My question is, why can't it be applied more often and in your opinion, how long should a treatment last?My home is all brick. Also, if things start to get bad again, as it appears to be, what do you think should be the next course of treatment?
Thanks for your help,
Dan
