That dead bug (maybe centipede) was halfway up the basement wall in the corner so I got a stick and knocked it down and there were 2 ants that were, I guess, taking it back to the nest. Did not know how strong they are...unbelievable.

I put it in a ziplock bag and threw it away. Do you think they will go for bait now that their meal is gone?

Oh, by the way, my neighbor thinks it is the racoons that actually got the top off her garbage can and knocked the other one over. We are really getting hit this year with everything although she is higher up and has a deck and stairs so no pavement ants in. We all have basement water intrusion as we are on the bottom of a hill and there are no drains in the street up there as it is a private road so we get all the water down here.
