I had my annual termite inspection on Monday, April 4th. The inspector reported odorous and citronella ants near two of the termite monitors and carpenter ants near the front wall of the house. Today, I checked the perimeter and monitors and found no carpenter ants, one monitor with citronella ants and another monitor with small black ants. I have no ants in the house and have never had a problem with ants in the house. The inspector wants to sell me an annual crawling insects pest control contract to control these outside ants. Since I am not having an ant problem, do I need to worry about these outside ants or am I being sold an unnecessary treatment plan? I was impressed by the honesty of your website and appreciate you help in avoiding unnecessary insecticide treatments.
