Hahahahaha. The inspector trying some 'creative sales,' eh? That's what they call it in the trade. It's always advantageous for a service company (of any sort) to get MORE business from their current customers. It's the capitalistic way to do things. It increases their capital and decreases yours.... If you get what I mean.
But the question is, do you really NEED this? That depends on whether your lawn is being affected by the ants. They can pretty much destroy a lawn if they have the right conditions, but it takes awhile and you have a chance to do something about it.
So let me put it this way: If you don't have problems on the INSIDE, and you don't care about the OUTSIDE, forget about it. You can ALWAYS find ants on the outside, don't let anyone scare you into something you don't want or need.
