Can carpenter ants cause damage to a pin oak tree?
I have a 20 year old pin oak tree that is shedding lots of dead leaves. After inspecting the tree I found a large amount of carpenter ants on and around the tree. Could the dead leaves be caused from some other problem or caused by the carpenter ants?
