Thanks for this page, its great! I live in the finger Lakes region of NY state, we have a pole barn style home with high ceilings, pine toungue and groove on the inside ceiling, metal roof with spray foam attached to the metal and four skylights that leak during condensation or snow melt, not when its raining. Our house is brand new, built in 2007. We noticed saw dustings last spring and dead ant parts falling down from the ceiling but never any live ants. This March we started noticing ants here and there and it continulally got worse. We had a person come out for a free consultation from Enviro Tech. She recommended using ant bait and liquid tarro trays. The ants slowed down for a bit and now that the weather is warmer they are everywhere. Just today I noticed more saw dust. We kill about 100 every day or more. Do we keep doing what we are doing or go into debt with re-constructing the random leak? The cieling is 16 feet from the floor with the peak being at like 26 ft. Do we have a situation for disaster or what?
