I am also having an ant problem along the baseboards in my kitchen and these guys are tiny! I think I have figured out where they are coming in and can take care of them. But the winged ants are a little bigger than the ones in the kitchen. I have seen them everyday for about 4 days so far. I have been vaccuuming them up, but there's 4-10 of them again in each window a couple of hours later. My son loves finding ant trails for me outside, but I guess when they are in his room at night (where the monsters and ghosts imagination starts!) he gets scared. (I think it's also a way of getting to stay up a little later, too!) Would the baits work for the ones in the kitchen or do you recommend something else? They are soooo small that they just slip right under the baseboards (floor is hardwood) where I can't clean them up. They are also a lot faster that some of the ants I've dealt with in the past.
