Hi,

Thank you for your website. I am writing from Eastern Canada. My husband and I just bought a log home in November. We found out after we moved in that the owners before the ones we bought it from had an infestation (probably associated with a leaky window that has since been fixed.)

We had a pest guy out last week and he gave us good advice - keep an eye out for them, but no need to spray. That made me feel confident and your site has certainly helped more.

However, I wonder if we should be more worried since we own a log home. It is an older log home and has had some leaky roof issues this winter which we're going to fix this summer.

You list log home constructions as a problem. What else should we know?

Thanks so much for your web page!
