KEEP the name of the pest guy. You may need him in the future, and it's always good to have someone to call.

Like he said, keep watch. When you go away, leave all the closets, cabinets and inside doors ajar, so that the air acclimates throughout the entire house. If you can leave a few windows cracked as well, that would be wise. You DO NOT want dead air spaces and high humidity.

As far as the ants you're seeing now, it all depends. You haven't had enough time in there to determine whether this is unusual or not, so keep a log of what is going on. You CAN have that many and have it not mean anything. Just keep watch for now. Resist any temptation to spray or bomb anything - it'll just be a waste of time and money and could even make things worse. Read the rest of the posts on this board to get an idea.
