With CAs, size doesn't matter.... I wouldn't seal any holes until you know they shouldn't be there, some holes NEED to be there, it depends.

Flying ants trying to get INTO holes? That's a strange one. Usually they swarm OUT.

With that kind of environment, I don't think what you're seeing is too much. About normal for this time of year, especially when you see them "all over."
