Yes, it's possible for you to have some kind of nest within some part of the house close to where you see them. But what you did do is NOT going to solve that problem.
Hold off, wait and watch and keep a log for a couple of weeks. In the interim, you can check into a GOOD exterminator, my advice would be to skip the biggies and look for a local guy who will come on an as-needed basis and is familiar and experienced in using the Termidor/Phantom treatments. Your log, a few samples of the insect, will help your exterminator do his job.
