Hi! I live just north of Philadelphia and we had an incredibly heavy thunderstorm late this afternoon (I'm sure you did too in South Jersey). We haven't seen any carpenter ants inside the house for a couple of years. Then early this evening saw four carpenter ants in a specific area in my living room. It totally freaked me out. We've never before seen four in a short period of time--only two. Could the really heavy rain have caused them to come inside? Your site has reassured me but I'm still freaking out! Thanks!
