Tony, the Termidor treatment is the best! And it really isn't "toxic" as much as anybody thinks. Just get the outside done and skip the inside treatment.
The ants are bad this year - ALL over. Here, where you are, and in most parts of the USA. (I think it's a conspiracy...)
The baits often quit working. What worked the last time, just doesn't work this time. That's why I almost always recommend Termidor. It's a once-per-season treatment - and it WORKS!
Don't worry about a couple of ants entering. Alwyays happens, a few anyway. And most of the baits don't kill the entire colony, but Termidor will! That's why it works so well.
