Here is my question: I moved into a condo in upstate NY (near the Canadian border) and we noticed a rafter that had been infested by carpenter ants (not a big section, about 2 inches wide by 8 inches long). I sprayed the area and haven't seen any since. I also cut back a lilac tree that was brushing up against the house. I noticed black ants all around it, and some were crawling up the rain gutter. I haven't seen any ants of large quantitity since I did these things, but recently, I find 1 or 2 ants crawling around my bathroom and sometimes I find a few in the kitchen. Our condo complex is surrounded by crab apple trees and we have been hit with A LOT of rain this summer. Should I have concerns at this point? Thanks for the help.
