HI again,

So the exterminator came out Wednesday 11am and sprayed - termidor/phantom. I left the larve thingys out so he could see them. He found more on the back of my house. He said they were probably moving them to a new satellite nest. He also said all the dead ants we saw in the garage could have been from inside the colony and they we're cleaning up. It's been dry since they came, but is supposed to rain tons over the weekend :( - over 2 inches possibly.

I saw a bunch of activity that night- lots in the kitchen, but have seen almost none since. One here... One there... Some dead ones, but not as many as I expected to see - maybe 30 so far. I looked around outside today- normally they're really active when it's warm and sunny - I saw none at all. I thought it would take much longer to kill them. I'm happy, just worried that they're hiding and they're going to come back when it's super humid next week after the rain washed off the termidor ;)

I know that termidor can withstand up to 1 inch of rain, but like I said we're expecting over 2 just tomorrow and rain is forcasted til tuesday. Am I going to need another application of Termidor?

Thanks again for your valuable help!
Crystal
