The Termidor is probably still working. It does take a few days for the full effect, it might still get those "hatch ants" too.

But if he comes back, and the ants are still at the hatch, I would ask him to treat that area. Termidor is a non-repellant, so it shouldn't really scatter them.

Whether he does the inside again, or not, is up to you and him. If it's needed when he gets there, I would say it's ok, depending on what the activity is.

But there again, since he's the man on the job, and he knows the conditions, and what he did the last time, I would count on his advice.
