Hi again,

Well, the ants have stopped altogether - seems to correspond to the arrival of hot dry weather.

We have gone from 5-10 a day in various spots in May on main floor to zero since mid July. I saw one in the living room August 16. Its the first one i have seen in over a month.

To me this would indicate based on your comments that I probably just have invaders every spring and into the summer, and that what I really need to do is seal up cracks on the outside of the house since they probably move along the foundation under the deck.

Do you concur with my assumption, or would it be also worthwhile to put down a product around the foundation outside (which one? and wait until march?).

I guess i wonder if they Could be nesting in walls, or do they usually exit the building if they are just passing through accidentally?

Thanks again for helping me not panic
