Well, I guess you're gonna have to go with the restoration guy... Have him FIX the water problem(s), and then, your exterminator afterwards, if you need it. Have someone standing by with a shop-vac when you open up those suspect places. Zip up any ants you encounter. FIX THE LEAK(S)!!

If you're gonna use any of the borates, you'll need someone with experience in using these - whether it's the restore guy or the exterminator guy!

That's the best you can do, the cheapest.
