We have been finding several carpenter ants in the barthrooms daily for months, so we decided to bug bomb the master bathroom today. There is NO sign of frass or any indication of where these monsters live, and the house is built on a concrete slab, no basement. I think ants come from behind the walls in the shower, but there is no hole that we can see. We bug bombed that bathroom today and found about 100 ants dead and dying in that room after we bombed in there. The main bathroom on the other side of the common wall was not bombed, but I killed no less than 20 large ants I found in there after the bombing today. It was like ants went into that bathroom to get away from the fog. These huge ants are found in various rooms of the house, never sawe one in the kitchen, and they occasionally crawl up our legs or into our bed. Did the ants come through the furnace/AC duct on the ceiling or the exhaust fan on the ceiling when we bombed?? We don't know what to do, we rent and can't drill holes in the bathroom walls. If we call our landlord he may raise rent and have us sign new lease. We are leasless now for 4 years since we don't want a raise in the rent. We are already paying $1250 monthly for 3 BR/2 bath house with a single car garage. We live in Pensacola Fl near a wooded area, and my hubby is unemployed, so can't afford an exterminator. Can you please help us?? Thanks so much!
