Ants (any kind) just LOVE that foamboard.... It's just so easy to make their homes in that stuff, once it's been invaded, it's hard to get rid of them.

Best would be treatments with Termidor or Phantom, whichever is appropriate. This is NOT a DIY project, however, you'll need a pro for this.

Forget any of the biggies - get yourself a local independent, someone within your local area. This shouldn't be an expensive proposition, unless you have to dismantle a large area.

I would advise that treatment, and an outside treatment with Termidor. But it depends on the situation, it's hard diagnosing over the Internet....
