Hi John,

Hate to bother you again but my problem this year is I put out an Ant Pro with Gourmet Liquid as soon as it was no longer freezing at night and there have been millions of ants all over it since. Last year they were on the foundation also as well as sand holes all over the brick patio. This year there are none on or right near the house so I figured the Termidor on the foundation would not help. However, I have about 33 sand holes on the patio and sweep them off when the grandkids come over. I sprayed Clorox clean up on 2 of them where the kids put up shop to deter them further.

I am hoping all these ant families are among those munching away at the "diner" but the number of hills have increased instead of decreasing. Is there anything an exterminator could put on the patio itself that would not be dangerous to the kids (who still pick up dropped food and eat it). Nobody listens to Nana....they said Mom has a 3 second rule.

I need my roof cleaned of black algae so do not know if the chemicals they use would mix with whatever you think should be sprayed on the patio. Please advise as I have to take away the Ant Pro also when they clean the roof and that itself will interrupt their feeding and hopefully they will go back after.

Thanks for your help.

PS: Wondering if I am actually inviting ants from all over onto my patio with the news of the tasty meal out there.
