We have a breeze way between our house and garage. Have noticed sawdust outside the bw by the sliding doors. We have been getting some moisture and rain inside the doors. The other night after a heavy rain, I decided to remove the wood around the walls. When removing the first piece started seeing more and more ants, sprayed with Ortho Home Defense Max. The more I removed the more ants came out, must have been thousands. Found the header wood above the slider was rotten an damp. After removing the wall and continuing spraying the ants seem to be gone....only a few lifeless one in last couple day. Will replacing the wood an reinstalling the sliders, do I still need to have an exterminator check or will this resolve the problem??? Thanks for any info~~~~
