Nix on the spider bites. Spiders actually have to be forced to bite. And they don't (normally) itch.

Maybe fleas? Do you have pets that sleep on the bed?

I would say to sleep on the bed again and see what transpires. The BB won't hurt you or make you sick, they're just a pain in the neck - or wherever they bite.

You have to look CLOSE, with a strong light. Look in the ticking of the mattress and the sheets. Look for blood spots on your bedclothes and pillows.
