I own a ranch style house in Westchester County NY that has tongue & groove slat ceilings. The roof started leaking a few years back so last year i had it replaced. The roofer at the time sprayed ant killer from Home Depot while the roof was open due to the many carpenter ants. I also had a local exterminator come spray. Then the roof was closed up with new plywood and shingles were applied. Now I have swarming ants and large worker ants pouring out of the light fixture attached to the ceiling. I had family here celebrating our Mother's 81st B-Day. It really ruined our party due to everyone being so uncomfortable with all the ants and some of the ants got on some of the guests. Anyhow, I did read your ant page but wish to know how best to get rid of this problem.

Thank you,
Cliff
