Hi John,

Since my first posting here, which is a little over a month go the situation with the Carpenter Ants has worsened considerably. On a daily basis I have had 20-30 swarmers that are 1/2 inch in length, plus a lot of worker ants. On 2 occasions I have had a large worker ants on the diner table and once I found one on my plate of food. I have found many of them traveling around in the fluorescent lighting fixtures above the downstairs basement.

In an effort to save money I found a DIY website that sent me Domain L2. I applied that to the entire outside of the house about 4 feet up from the foundation. I also treated all the tree stumps in the yard and around the wood pile, which is about 50 feet from the house. I did that 3 weeks ago and have seen no improvement. I treated it again today. I also purchased 2 large cans of phantom and sprayed it into the fluorescent light holes that go into the ceiling. I sprayed in-between the slats of the ceiling and around the windows. Today it's very hot inside and I've seen an increase of large swarmers and worker ants in the living room, kitchen and foyer area. I suppose you would suggest I have an expert come and do the phantom/termidor treatment? Please advise because these Ants are making living in the house very uncomfortable to say the least?

Thank you,
Cliff
