If the ants are nesting in the DW, dust between the outside metal and the inside compartment. You want to dust the insulation. You don't need much.

Make sure the DW is dry to begin with, and keep it dry for a day or two afterwards. You don't need it INSIDE the DW proper, and you probably don't need it in any of the cabinets.

I wold wait a week or so before you do anything. It won't make any difference in the result if you wait. You might not have to do all that.
