What, you worry? Don't. Lots of ants around now, especially with the conditions you describe. I would hold off for now, if it's weather related, a change in the weather will end it. And whatever you do FOR it, can be done with the same effectiveness later on.

Ants "all over" is just that. They come in "all over" and will wander around until you kill them or they find their way out.

Can they find a home inside? Sure they can. Elephants can escape from the zoo and trample you too. Now, I understand that the elephant thing is a bit far off, but just because you see them inside, in those small numbers, is usually a sign of foraging workers. And it doesn't mean that you actually have a problem. Just hang loose and see what happens. Most times they go away on their own.
