Thank you. In the next week or so I plan on fixing the outer wall but for now I have a tarp covering it. The damage was that the wood had rotted through to the house. It was only in that small 12x15 space beneath my window. The insulation is in horrible shape and I think the 2x4's kept them from going to other spaces. The wall space to the left and right are clean and up until that moment I have never seen more than 2-5 ants at a time in my house. Im hoping they were localized in that small space. I wish I had read your page before I panicked and sprayed the outside of my house with the ant repellent Ive used in the past. Im hoping that doesnt make them avoid that space and go elsewhere. What are some signs i should look for in the house if they are behind other drywall joints that I havent opened
