I wish that there was someone here who did inside treatment--everyone is willing to spray the perimeter, and both companies in my town require a contract to do it. I made the mistake of calling the biggies and they went straight to scare tactics (and their prices plus travel fees were scary on top of that). Needless to say I ran from them.
I have two options in town, and neither fits into anything I would classify as being one of the "good guys". My only other option is to call in someone from out of town (minimum hour drive each way) to spray the house.
So here is the followup question(and I think I know the answer by your response): Do I take my chances with a local dude and his contract, or do I try and find an alternate?
I don't suppose that Termidor or Phantom are approved/available for homeowner use, but are there other approved substances that might work? New Mexico has pretty lax laws when it comes to poisons and pesticides, but not sure on what is generally available at all. I just know that the boric acid seems to have worked okay--but not great enough to give the little buggers the more-permanent boot. (instead they are moving out into the rest of the living area in search of foodage...like my arms and legs)
Thanks for answering the same questions over and over! (Same questions, different locations, good answers!)
