Try the outside Termidor treatment FIRST. And you have to give it a couple of weeks for it to work right. This will NOT be an instantaneous kill.
When using Termidor, for ants, mix according to the LOWEST titration listed on the label. Apply according to directions, donít mix more than youíll use in one session, Termidor diluents donít keep well.
When using Phantom, for ants, mix HALF of the LOWEST recommended dosage. THIS IS IMPORTANT! Phantom can be very tricky to use, even for a pro, unless you understand how it works. If itís TOO STRONG, then it will kill individuals before they have the right contact with the main colony, meaning they come right back. If you mix TOO LIGHT, it probably wonít work at all. It also depends on your target ant and the site of the problem, among other factors. So it isnít just ďfill Ďer up,Ē and spritz away, often ants are a challenge anytime.
Do the outside treatment first and give it a couple of weeks to work. Skip the Phantom treatments for now, see what develops.
This assumes you have a MIXABLE form of these chemicals, not something thatís already pre-mixed and ready to use. Be careful using either of these chems around live fish of any kind.
