Hi again, John!

so, an update! Since my last post (~2 weeks) we've had about 4 or 5 more ants in my home, not many, but this time around I finally noticed their entry point.

In one of my rooms (2nd floor) there's a fireplace where the frame doesn't sit flush with the wall/sheetrock, there's a 1/2 inch gap. Looking into that gap I noticed the sheetrock had a big hole in it (think it's been that way since installation).

It was around dusk so I figured I'd go outside and look for activity outside, and where the ground meets that side of the wall there's another gap! I waited around for 10 minutes or so and eventually noticed 2 or 3 ants roaming around it. So now the question is, should I seal up the 2 gaps and see what happens, or take other measures incase they're nesting in there?

I hope I'm not being too bothersome, things like this freak me out and my huspband used to take care of them, so other than calling in a pro I'm clueless lol!
