Not sure about the Termidor... It does have a sort of shelf life, and a lot depends on if it has been frozen and how old it is. But we generally have good results doing (about) what you have done, it really depends on multiple factors, so it's hard to say. And it might take a couple of weeks to take effect, agin depending on many variables. Still, the experience you have had with the ants doesn't seem like a really big problem, but everyone's sensibilities are different.

I would lay off any further applications, I find that one application often solves the problem for the entire season. It isn't a systemic insecticide, but using "more' won't help you "more."
