Use the vacuum. Forget the Raid or other insecticides. Leave the hole open for a couple of weeks, make sure the activity is gone.

If not, use an insecticide dust and inject it into the hole. Then leave that open for an appropriate period of time. Then you can close it if you wish, but leaving it open, if it isn't obvious, means you can always get to it in the future if you need to.
