A Termidor mixture doesn't have a long shelf life, it starts degrading after a few weeks, depending on local conditions.
The concentrate should last a year or even two, assuming it is stored properly too.
If the diluent you're using is "old," mix up a new batch. Follow label instructions, don't mix stronger than advised. If you do, you may kill too fast, not giving time to eliminate the most ants.
For termites, and under optimum conditions, the manufacturer has said it can last up to 12 years. And I believe they are considering tacking on a couple of more years on top of the 12, so I've heard. For termites, that is.
