Yes, Bill, in the spring, once it warms up a bit. When ou start seeing ants on the outside, do the perimeter with the Termidor, don't use anything else on top of the Termidor. And you will probably only need it that one time. Fipronil is the active in Termidor, of course. Keep it in a cool, dark place. It does have a shelf life, a couple of years is about it. Don't buy too much. In the tank, mixed, it won't be as effective even a week later. I mix mine on the spot.
The fipronil in bait syringes or bait pucks is a bit different formulation and lasts longer. Dip the pucks in warm water before you place them.
If you use the Termidor outside, you probably won't need any control on the inside. On most of my outside Termidor treatments I don't even treat the inside, it works so well.
