Trying not to get too excited but they seem to be dwindling in numbers greatly. It's certainly been nice and warm the past few days. I haven't seen hardly any winged guys (2 today) and about 20 of the little tiny workers, they were dead except for 2 of them. Compared to the 170 winged ones I came home to on Friday i'm pretty happy.
Seems like i'm winning the battle, any thoughts? Could that possibly indicate the moisture problem was fixed with the new roof and basically that was all the old eggs hatching but the colony is dying off?
My wife and I are going to start budgeting to pull the whole ceiling(both layers - ugh) and put up something else, which would clear out any remaining debris but it won't be this year.
