We live in the Midwest and recently had a lot of rain and flooding in our neighborhood. About a week after the storms I started to see a few ants in a second floor bedroom (back of the house). They were near the window frame. I almost immediately called our exterminator who came and put bait in the window frame. He didn't seem alarmed - told me to expect an increase in activity due to the bait and then call back in 7-10 days if ants were still present. Today was "day 7" and I had the exterminator back because I'm still seeing some ants (a few per day) but I've also seen 7 or 8 winged ants in the last four days. Considering that it's my daughter's room my nerves have been a little shot. Just wondering what your opinion is about the situation and if you think we have a problem or if it's a seasonal/weather-related issue? Thanks so much! And your website is great - it helped me breathe a little easier; even if we have a CA problem.
