Hi John. I wrote (via e-mail) last December about a carpenter ant problem that I have in my house. They are back this spring. What I see is the white material (presumably foam insulation) that sprinkles down onto the interior floor of my hosue, along a wall (fireplace brick) where the shed roof of a single-story section of house meets a two-story section. As far as I know I have fixed any potential moisture problems -- did major work last summer. However, the little guys are still around. I told you that the exterminators I used last year were using MaxForce gel bait. The active ingredient in that bait is Fipronil which I believe is the same ingredient as in Termidor. Are you saying that the Maxforce Bait doesn't work? My house is in VT. Should I treat the perimeter of the house again and ... not sure how to treat the inside? I do not see ants in the house; just their refuse.
