Last year we found some water damage on the outside of our house and a bunch of carpenter ants when we had it repaired. The area which had water damage has since been sided and should now be water tight. Over the last week or so, I've killed some winged carpenter ants inside the house. Six or so today alone. Most in the bedroom adjacent to where the water damage had been. Now that its warming and that area "should" be water tight, is it probable that they're fleeting that area due to a lack of water? Or is it a sign of something else?
