I was just out there this afternoon, did not see any of them but am now setting up the grill on the deck and saw many of them crawling up and down the windows, downspout, vinyl siding and the deck! Showed my husband and he just briefly told me, "yupe, I see them." Have not seen them inside for a few days...just don't want to jinx it. So, they were out and about in the afternoon and return "home' to my house in the evening? I know I know you have been telling me they don't hide anywhere but seeing them coming in and out the siding makes me wonder if they are actually breeding inside there. I saw the bigger ones as well as babies. Last thing I want to see happens is thousands of them. I wonder if they were here last spring just so that I did not notice them and now that I have been reading many horror stories online about these harmless-but-creepy-annoying creatures, I started noticing their appearances. Is that true that they will die within 24 hrs if they happen to blunder inside? I need more assurance that these little guys will have absolutely no interest moving into my house long-term...and INFEST! They are worst than ants as they are tough to kill, in my opinion. So, almost everyone have springtails as much as I have them?
