Thanks for the response and details - this is very good to know! I had assumed some of the points about the use indications, after reading a bit about this family of products. I also noticed that Termidor is not labeled for use more than twice a year, which I thought was a little odd, but whatever. Since spraying Sunday afternoon, I have seen a total of 12 ants: 8 Sunday night (all alive), and 4 last night (two of which were DOA), so I am hopeful that this aggressive colonization has begun to meet its demise. The exterminator was really agitated with me when I told him what I had done, but I told him they should simply use Termidor. One more question: why should I be concerned about bees coming into contact with this product? I've also had a bee issue once before, and would be very happy if a byproduct of using Termidor is reducing the likelihood of any insect problems.
