Do you know which chemical(s) he used? If he didn't tell you, you should ask.

And there is no 'normal.' Every case is different, but yes, I have seen it go easily as long as two weeks, but that's rare. I had problems with my own office several years ago. Ants everywhere! The girls were complaining and threatened to call Terminix lol. Hit the whole place up twice. It took awhile to settle down, I forget how long, but it wasn't days, it was a few weeks. But this office is very old, about 150 years old, and you just KNOW the place is full of holes where they can get in. I still see them out back, but as long as they stay there, I'm not concerned.

Have patience, and if it doesn't end, call the exterminator and ask for help, without being confrontational.
