Thanks! I did get the pucks for roaches that have fipronil (that was my last "treatment" )and shortly after I put those down, they seemed to disappear. The spike on the thorax of the one is what was throwing me off as well! I'm a big time DIY'er who HATES asking for help, and I didn't feel it was bad enough to call someone. I'm pretty confident I took care of the problem, especially since I used an inspection camera in the walls and found NOTHING before I treated. We are having a HUGE problem with the pavement ant foragers, but I think I finally found where they are coming in…nice crack right between the indoor slab and outdoor slab under the sheet vinyl in front of the sliding glass door. Would the fipronil pucks work on pavement ants? I've sealed every other crack and crevice inside and out that I could find, so I'm assuming the nest is under the slab.
