Thanks John! The Orkin tech has been pretty straight with me. Every treatment has been face to face and he has spent a good amount of time inspecting inside and out and answering my questions at each visit. Although I will speak to him about his experience with phantom if the bait, dust and granules do not remedy the problem.

Upon further review it may have been a co-pilot error with Termidor. Two weeks from the Termidor treatment the ants returned. Out of ignorance and panic (as I had to travel) I sprayed the outside perimeter with an ortho product (unaware of repellent vs non-repellent) I certainly did not cover as much surface area as the Termidor but maybe it had an impact. Maybe worse - four days after Termidor, I power washed the patio which was the original point of entry. Not my smartest move in retrospect but I had not seen an ant for days and saw several dead ones on the patio so I thought the problem was solved.

Perhaps a touch-up of Termidor on the patio would help? Although I've yet to see a live ant on the patio since the first treatment - and they used to be there all the time.

Lastly, this is truly a great service you offer. I can't say enough how helpful you have been.

Best regards,
Tom
